Advice from ASDP Leaders

As part of ASDP's ongoing video project, we ask leaders of ASDP a variety of questions about the field of dermatopathology, why being part of ASDP is important, what value they find in the ASDP Annual Meeting, and their predictions about the future of dermatopathology. We also ask them what advice they would give dermatopathologists at the beginning of their careers. Their answers are applicable to most fields.

Here's what some of them had to say:

Mark Jacobson: Be humble in the face of disease

Lyn Duncan: Do what makes you happy

Joan Guitart: To live is to learn

Philip E Shapiro: Make a conscious effort to keep learning

Thomas Horn: An open mind will always learn

Clark Lambert: Not for the faint of heart
