Today, the U.S. House of Representatives passed a bill that permanently repeals the Independent Payment Advisory Board (IPAB) provision of the Affordable Care Act. As a top advocacy priority, the AADA has been aggressively working to build bipartisan support for the legislation on Capitol Hill. With the passage of this bill, the House has taken an important step to protect the availability of quality, efficient health care for seniors.
The AADA thanks Reps. Phil Roe (R-Tenn.) and supporters in the House. The AADA encourages its members to use the
Dermatology Advocacy Network, and urge the Senate to pass the bill.
